The Committee supports the Dalai Lama’s Middle Way Approach seeking meaningful autonomy for Tibet within China and calls on the Chinese government to respect the rights of Tibetans, end restrictions on religious and personal freedoms, stop repression, and resume dialogue with Tibetan representatives.
